The Irish Society of Obstetric Anaesthesia was formed in 1997 to provide a focus for educational meetings in Ireland for obstetric anaesthetists, trainees, obstetricians, midwives, and other practitioners involved in maternity care.
The Society aims to support and encourage research, audit, and education across Irish obstetric anaesthesia units.
ISOA has also hosted international obstetric anaesthesia meetings in Ireland, helping to connect Irish practice with the wider international obstetric anaesthesia community.
Annual subscription to ISOA includes registration for the ISOA Annual Meeting.
